Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I know if my possessions are suitable for auction?

Please contact us and we can discuss this with you. If necessary a home visit can be arranged and the valuer will give you advice on the likely auction value of your treasures! If the items are portable you are welcome to bring them into our offices for inspection.  The best time to do this is during one of our Free Valuation Mornings.

2. Why should I sell at auction?

Because many buyers will compete for your goods, so we can achieve the maximum possible price on your behalf. The location is safe - no need to invite purchasers to your own home. The sale of your goods will be handled by RICS qualified valuers and auctioneers, experienced in selling to the widest possible audience. As the Cotswolds leading specialist auctioneers we have an extensive mailing list and a following of keen buyers - whether you are selling a Georgian dining table, a studio pottery vase or a Steiff teddy bear.
