We can sell single items, collections or whole house contents. Our valuers offer a complete professional auction service from your initial enquiry - including a home visit if required, giving estimates on value, arranging transport, advertising, photography - right through to a cheque arriving in the post approximately two and a half weeks after the sale!
COLLECTION OF GOODS
If you would like to deliver your goods to the salerooms or office, please contact us to book a time.
If you would like us to arrange collection and delivery on your behalf we use local experienced removers and the cost is deducted from the proceeds of the sale. We can even arrange a complete clearance of your property leaving it ready for sale.

ALL CUSTOMERS ARE NOW REQUIRED TO PROVIDE PROOF OF IDENTITY WHEN CONSIGNING GOODS FOR SALE Thank you.
SELLERS CHARGES
VENDORS COMMISSION AND INSURANCE
16.5% of the hammer price - (£5 if not sold)
includes insurance at 1% of the hammer price (all items are insured whilst in our care)
Plus LOTTING FEE of £3 per lot
All the above charges are subject to V. A. T. at the current rate.
Please note: There is a minimum charge of £5 per lot, whether a lot sells or not
ENTRY FORMS
These can be obtained from the auctioneers. Please complete and return the top copy well in advance of the auction, so that maximum publicity can be given to your goods.
PHOTOGRAPHY, ADVERTISING, PRESS RELEASES, SPECIALIST MAILING OF BUYERS
These are undertaken on your behalf to acheive the maximum possible price for your goods. There is no extra charge (except in special circumstances and by agreement with you).
SALES ON YOUR PREMISES
In some cases it can be very beneficial to hold an auction at the house, as sales in situ excite a great deal of interest.
RESERVES
A reserve is a figure below which your item will not be sold, many lots are sold without reserve and the auctioneer can advise you.
