We were delighted to welcome two teams from the BBC’s Celebrity Antiques Road Trip to our sale of Toys, Antiques and Interiors in the summer.
The show was broadcast on BBC Two on Wednesday evening, November 8th.
Actors Amanda Barrie and Stephanie Beacham joined antiques experts Tim Medhurst and Serhat Ahmet to battle it out in the final showdown at The Cotswold Auction Company’s Cirencester saleroom.
Amanda emerged victorious this time, with two of her notable sales including a Jacobean style oak and red leather chair, and a convict’s ball and chain!
Auctioneer Lindsey Braune said: “The visit of Celebrity Antiques Road Trip created quite a buzz around the saleroom and drew in some new faces on auction day.
“It was a great pleasure to welcome these two well-known actresses, their accompanying antiques experts, and the BBC production team – we look forward to another visit in future series.”
