Elizabeth trained in Fine Arts Valuation at Southampton Institute and qualified in 1988. She is a Fellow of the RICS and after 35 years still loves the excitement of discovering new items.
Lindsey Braune, B.A.,MRICS
Company Director
Lindsey read Modern Languages at St Annes College, Oxford University, before training with Capes Dunn and Co in Manchester and qualifying as a Chartered Art and Antiques Surveyor with the RICS in 1984
Niall Fry, MNAVA
Auction room manager, valuer and Auctioneer
Niall was apprenticed at an auction house in Portsmouth and has since worked at a number of salerooms. His career highlight to date he reports as “building a woolly mammoth at Summers Place in Billingshurst”.

Jenny previously worked in the books department of Sotheby’s Johannesburg. She values and catalogues the specialist books and textiles sales.
Bob Short
Consultant
Bob is a Fellow of the RICS, has a wealth of experience and has been practising in Gloucester for over 45 years. He is a well known local professional who ran sales in his own practice since the 1970s.
Charles Woodward, MIVA
Consultant
Having been responsible for Bonhams in Bath, Charles gained extensive experience in antique furniture. He also undertakes probate and insurance valuations.

Aaron began working part time after graduating university, he quickly became a key asset to the team. He helps manage the website, and coordinates the porters.

Debbie has worked for the Cotswold Auction Company since 2013 and has just celebrated her 10th anniversary! She is an invaluable member of the team and enjoys meeting new customers in the Cirencester office.
Chris Dixon
Saleroom assistant and Cataloguer
Chris has had experience as an art teacher in Wiltshire, together with auction and cataloguing experience in Gloucestershire. His particular enthusiasm is for 20th century ceramics and glass and also 20th century art.
Louise Phelps, BA (Hons), PGCert
Consultant and Cataloguer
Louise has over twenty years’ experience of working within the international auction world. She was Director of the Ceramics and Glass Department at Christie’s and has carried out extensive valuations for many important museum and noble collections. Since returning to her hometown of Bath, Louise works as an independent consultant and cataloguer.
